Free Chicken Coop Plans

When I decided to build a chicken coop myself I thought that it might be a good idea to look for free chicken coop plans online. I have to admit, I had a hard time. Yes, I found some, but they weren’t easy to follow. May be if you are an experienced builder, but building a chicken coop was my first building project ever.

I found chicken coop plans that looked great, but I could not understand the plans. And they did not come with fool proof step by step instructions. They also did not contain any pictures. Pictures and graphics are essential, at least for me, it makes it a lot easier understanding the whole building process.The materials used also did not seem to be useful. There were slots and windows for air to come in, but it didn’t look like it had enough insulation to keep it from getting too hot inside.

If you are a newbie like me I recommend staying away from free chicken coop plans. They will cost you more money in the end, because you buy material and fail to build a good looking chicken coop so you have to start all over again. Do not waste your time and your money!
